USDOT Numbers and Legal Lettering
FMCSA requires commercial vehicles operating under a USDOT number to display the legal or trade name and the USDOT number on both sides of the power unit, legible from 50 feet in daylight. DOT-C2 Reflective and Visibility Packages
Trailers 80 inches or wider over 10,001 pounds GVWR carry red and white DOT-C2 retroreflective treatment under 49 CFR 393.11, and plenty of straight trucks add conspicuity voluntarily because rear end collisions at night are the crash nobody walks away from. We stock and install DOT-C2 tape, build rear chevron panels for service vehicles that work road shoulders, and fold reflective packages into wrap installs so compliance and branding land in one appointment.

We print on heavy 30 mil magnetic stock, the commercial standard for vehicle use, cut to standard door sizes or custom shapes that follow your artwork. Thin promotional magnet stock does not stay on at highway speed and we do not sell it.
Where can magnets not be used?
Magnets need flat steel. Aluminum panels, most modern doors with deep body lines, wrapped surfaces, and fresh repaints are all no go zones. We will tell you honestly if your vehicle is a vinyl candidate instead.
