Heavy Equipment Wraps Chicago: Machinery Graphics Built for Abuse

Every machine on your jobsite is seen by the whole neighborhood for weeks. Excavators, skid steers, cranes, mixers, and generators take branding the same way your trucks do, with films chosen for the abuse they live through.

Machines Are the Most Photographed Things on a Jobsite

A jobsite fence goes up and every commuter, neighbor, and future customer looks straight past it at the equipment. An unbranded excavator advertises nobody. A branded one puts your name at the center of every progress photo, drone shot, and news segment for the life of the project.

CFW has produced equipment graphics for Chicagoland construction operations including Stark Excavating, whose cement mixer and semi trailer work appears on this site. Cabs, booms, counterweights, chutes, and body panels all take vinyl. We template from your actual machine model so panels land around grease points, latches, and wear zones.

Films Chosen for the Environment

Equipment lives a harder life than a delivery van: hydraulic fluid, diesel wash downs, pressure washing, gravel rash, and sun. We spec premium cast films with laminates rated for chemical exposure on the panels that need it, and use heavier calendared product on low curvature surfaces where it makes financial sense. High wear zones like lower cab panels and chute areas get sacrificial layers that can be replaced individually instead of redoing the machine.

Safety marking rides along in the same install: high visibility striping on counterweights and swing radii, reflective panels for machines that work near live traffic, and equipment numbers your dispatcher can read from across the yard.

Rental Fleets and Resale

For rental houses, wrapped equipment returns cleaner: vinyl takes the scuffs the paint would have taken, and a branded machine is harder to lose track of and easier to rent. At resale time the wrap peels and the paint underneath has spent years protected from UV and abrasion.

Heavy Equipment Wrap Questions

Can you wrap an excavator or skid steer?

Yes. Cabs, booms, counterweights, and body panels all take vinyl. We template from your machine model so graphics land around grease points, latches, and wear zones, and we spec heavier films for the panels that take abuse.

What vinyl survives a construction site?

Premium cast films with chemical rated laminates handle diesel, hydraulic fluid, and pressure washing. High wear zones get sacrificial panels that replace individually, so one gravel blasted corner does not mean redoing the machine.

Does wrapping equipment help at resale?

Yes, in two ways. The vinyl absorbs UV and abrasion the paint would have taken, so the machine underneath ages slower. And the wrap removes at sale time, revealing paint that has been protected for years.

Can you add safety striping and equipment numbers?

Yes. High visibility striping on counterweights and swing radii, reflective panels for machines working near traffic, and fleet numbers sized to read across a yard all install in the same visit as the branding.

Do you wrap generators, light towers, and attachments?

Yes. Anything with a paintable surface takes vinyl: generators, light towers, compressors, conex offices, and attachments. Small units are often the cheapest brand impressions on the site.
